Peter Gregerson served as an elder for many years in a congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses. He was well respected by the friends, and the Watchtower Society who at one point invited him to Brooklyn to share his views about what could be done to help pull the organization out of the slump that followed in the wake of the "1975" debacle.
