She returned to her family after a mental breakdown and re-established contact with Gary in 1996. He hung himself the middle of December, 1996. He was not made to live in this world, and especially not in this organization. His death set me free. They refused a memorial for him in the Kingdom Hall, but one was held in a private home. It made me sick to see the very people who killed him, eulogize him and use it as an excuse to "scare" others deeper into clutches of this cult. I have not returned to any Kingdom Hall since.
